It slides on a floor rail to give a large load area or a rear lounge and folds flat into a double bed. The Mountain Tourer takes a different approach with two RIB Neptune single seats that slide sideways and forwards to become two 60 cm singles or a 120 cm double. Prefer an open-plan lounge? The Prestige Tourer and U Tourer include a Westdubs roof in white or black gelcoat, the Prestige Tourer Plus and Advent Tourer a colour-coded Reimo roof with front spoiler and sprung bed, and the Mountain Tourer a Reimo reverse-opening roof. Upgrading a Prestige Tourer to the Reimo roof is £2,870 on the T6.1, and Austops roofs are available as a stand-alone fitting. Yes. The T7 shares its body with the Ford Transit Custom, so the roofs, windows and seat-beds we have proven on the Ford transfer directly. We convert the diesel, PHEV and electric T7 alongside the T5, T6 and T6.1. #### What is the difference between a Kombi conversion and a full camper? A Kombi or day-van conversion typically adds windows, lining, a seat-bed and perhaps a pop-top so the van sleeps in but stays a five-seat daily vehicle. A full camper adds a kitchen with hob, sink and fridge, leisure electrics, heating and water so you can live in it. Many customers start with a Kombi and add the kitchen later. #### How much does a VW Transporter conversion cost? On a T6.1 the U Tourer starts at £23,295 (£27,960 with pop-top), the Prestige Tourer at £33,775, the Advent Tourer at £38,035 and the Prestige Tourer Plus and Mountain Tourer at £41,495. T7 prices are typically £1,500 higher. Kombi conversions and individual services such as a pop-top are priced separately. The SWB is by far the most common and suits most pop-top layouts. The LWB gives an extra 40cm behind the seat-bed, which is what makes the Advent Tourer possible with its fixed rear toilet and privacy door, and it unlocks the double induction hob and larger fridge options on the other packages. #### Can I buy a converted Transporter from you instead? Yes. A full package build takes 4 to 8 weeks once the van is in the workshop.
